Stardust on my toes

Sometimes when I'm counting sheep Or resting in repose, I find when waking from my sleep Some stardust on my toes.

In my dreams, as I take flight, It's often that I ponder, What will I find out there tonight, Beyond the wild blue yonder?

Whenever I can get the chance To rest and lightly doze I like to let my spirit dance With stardust on my toes

I leave behind these earthly bars And cannot help believing We only reach the farthest stars With lightness of our being.

So every time a nap I take, Though no one even knows, I hope that I will finally wake With stardust on my toes.
