Irresistible Force

A Matter of Utmost Gravity







There is a force that binds the stars,

     Affecting all the same,

It's felt on Jupiter and Mars,

     It's Gravity, by name.



Relentless pull, it seems to show,

     Not unlike me and you.

Resisting doesn't help, you know,

     You must have felt it, too.



It's silly to resist, of course,

     That's not the best reaction,

Surrender to persistent force

     Of Mutual Attraction.
