That's right! I'm a cat person, not a dog person.
Every personal website should have something about cats.
Dino is one of the cutest cats in all creation. I say that with all modesty and little parental pride. He is amazingly friendly and a real sweet guy around the neighborhood. His name is short for Houdini. We initially named him that because of his uncanny ability to lose his collars and tags. He has even been known to remove Dusty's. He adopted us when he was about 6 months old. He was slightly injured, dirty and underfed. When he decided we were good people, he just moved in and took over.
Dusty is no longer with us. But she has always had her picture on this page so I wasn't ready to get rid of it. Her name was short for "Stardust". You have to
see some poetry to understand where that comes from. She got the name as a kitten when she used to pounce on my toes under the bedcovers. See "No Name Cat",
"Under Toe" and "Stardust on my toes". She got kitty cancer sometime back and had to be put down. (such a polite way of saying "killed") I was there when it was done. If you want to be really depressed, you can read one that flooded out on the day of her death. A way to say "Goodbye"
Dino has been my best friend since 1990 and has seen me through some rough times. I'm not sure what I'd do without him, but he's getting old now. Still in prettty good health and one of the most affectionate creatures I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
