The Bay Area in California is blessed with quite a few good turbine Drop Zones. You will most often find me working weekends at Bay Area Skydiving located at the Byron Airport. Every DZ has its own personality so you will have to match the one that best suits yours. Don't forget location. When you get hooked on the sport, you won't want to have to drive far to get your altitude adjustment.
